Genting 2013

A week ago, I told myself to cherish that moment because i'll definitely be missing it now. And i did, both the missing and treasuring all the time i had during my short vacation.

I'm still having some bits of withdrawal symptoms. The separation wasn't nice at all. Waking up to nobody around me, no plans for the day, no fun. :(

Day 1:

Last week, I set off for Genting at six in the morning. I didn't had much sleep but refused to waste my time sleeping so i watched the scenery for the 6  hours of coach ride. it may sound long but it really wasn't. When we reached there, the weather was good, chilly and nice. We took quite a long time to look for our hotel, it's really far away from the bus terminal. But it was definitely worth the walk 'cus the room's reeeeeely comfy. Oh btw, I went with only my cousins, the adults didn't come along with us. My last memory of Genting before this trip was extremely long ago, when my family occupied the entire bus. Great times. And this time round, there's only six of us.

We waited for quite a while for our room to be ready for us, so we chilled at coffee bean which had WiFi, yayyyyy you know that feeling when you find wifi somewhere overseas, haha. it was supposed to be a getaway for me but i used the wifi so i dont think it's much of a getaway anymore. We checked in at about 2.30pm, settled our stuffs then headed out. Everything was really impromptu for the first day. My elder cousins were warned by the adults in our family to not bring us to the bottom of the hill for strawberry farm, but we went anyway! We were quite adventurous i say.. we took a cab that wasn't really a cab. it's a private cab and the six of us squeezed in the car up and down hill, thrilling much. the back of the car was like sinking down. hahaha.

So we plucked strawberries, visited a chocolate shop, walked thru a mushroom farm when we were at the bottom of the hill. Choosing the strawberries was fun! I made a vlog that i initially planned to keek but i sounded too retarded so i uploaded it on path instead!

After that, we had Hot Pot for dinner. It was terrible!

After dinner, we roamed around the arcade for some fun. Then, we went to take the 4D film! Right after that, we rushed over for G.I Joe in the cinema. It's another show that requires 3D glasses on so we felt really uncomfy throughout the entire show but it's a good movie. Though i was really sleepy, i forced myself to stay awake while some of my cousins fell asleep, haha.

Headed back to our hotel at bout 2AM and turned in at 3.

Day 2:

I was the "alarm girl" so i woke up at 7AM then annoyed my sleeping cousins one by one to wake them up! No time to waste, we can always sleep when we're back in sg right? :)
haha but we ended up leaving our hotel at 9am they're too nua.

THEME PARK DAY!

I didn't take much pictures because we were too busy with the rides. We pretty much played everything except the kiddy rides of course. Speaking of which, the tea cup thing was crazy. No wait my cousins are crazy, the spun the shit out of it. hahahah it was really fun thou!!

Space shot was superbbbbb i love the drop.

Honestly, the rides get boring after awhile and there weren't much queues. But it was the stupidest things we do that entertained us the most. Like spreading our hands out one by one on the flying dragon like retards, turning and twisting the chains of the flying chair so we'll swirl around, and all the things we did. And have i mentioned? they're the best theme park mates ever. we go on all the rides everytime tgt whenever we go to a theme park. We're planning to go to Jarkarta next for their trans studio. And we wna go Batam to wakeboard, BKK to shop, aust for dreamworld and usa for sixflags. haha sounds pretty impossible thou :(

('cus spreading ourselves out is too mainstream, we paddled in a row! hahaha)

After 6pm, we wanted to skydive but it was fully booked :( we were really disappointed..
So we went to snow world instead. It's freezing cold inside. Freaking -6 degrees, my hands were frozen. but i had a terrific time throwing snow all over. if only someone had a picture of us playing, we would all look so happy in the picture.

Had dinner then went to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not! The exhibits were really interesting. And we had tons of fun running through this tunnel sort of thing. The surrounding keeps turning but the path doesn't, it creates an illusion so you'll feel the whole thing turning when you walk thru. We ran over one by one, it's really entertaining watching some of us knocking all over. Looked funny!

We went to watch another movie to sum our day up! "Olympus has fallen", thank god it's a non 3D-movie. There were a lot of similarities between OHF and G.I Joe! Both were about nuclear, war, rescuing the president.. haha.

Chilled at mcD, then i had my virgin walk into the club. nobody really cares how old i am there so my cousin thought i should just go in to see how it looks likes. an experience kinda thing i suppose.

i like how i'm always trying out new things with my cousins, always learning.

slept @3AM again.

Day 3:

the most depressing day. we're leaving. T-T

we had the thought of extending our stay though but we didn't due to a few factors..
But still, we maximized whatever we can do with the time left. I woke up at 6AM and all of us managed to leave at 8AM. We bought individual tickets for some rides!

and so we left...

reached SG at about 7pm, had dinner tgt then chilled at one of my cousins' place!

then, home sweet home. :(
